Beautiful hotel in front of the lake and within Queen Elizabeth NP surroundings The rooms look like a safari-tent and they are super clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. The bathroom has lots of space. Our rooms had a wide balcony where you could seat and enjoy the view of the lake and the sound of wild animals. Philip, the owner, is a great guy. Meals and drinks are served in a beautiful wooden deck outside, with great views and service.

Special camp with first-class staff and service. Kasenyi Safari Camp was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It's well within Queen Elizabeth National Park overlooking the Bunyampaka salt lake and surrounded by wildlife (hippos, hyenas and lions could be heard at night). The tent is spacious with a big comfortable bed, a good shower, and a raised decking area overlooking the lake. The staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating, and really went out of their way to make my stay extra special. Lunch and dinner was delicious, and a late dinner was even kindly served after a night game drive. I plan to visit again.

Beautiful location with lovely staff and great food My mom and I were fortunate enough to spend two nights at Kasenyi while traveling through Queen Elizabeth. I cannot recommend this lodge enough! Being right outside QENP we had so many animals that wandered through the camp—including a hippo that came by during dinner one night! The tents are so unique, our tent was incredibly large with a thatched roof and a gorgeous balcony facing the lake. The staff at Kasenyi could not have been nicer, going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The laundry included was such a great plus! The food was also delicious and plentiful, and we really appreciated that they actually served Ugandan food! Our final night the owner arranged a bush dinner as a surprise for the guests which was such an incredible experience that we will never forget. The night hyena safari was so cool too! The only feedback I’d give is to either provide a fan in the tents and/or screen the doors so they can be left open as it gets warm during the day (but was very comfortable at night for sleeping).

Perfect safari location outside Queen Elizabeth National Park Loved the location, the staff, the rooms, the owner, and the food of this safari camp! Our last night they even did a Bush dinner for all the guests which was so amazing under the stars and with excellent service and food. We loved our individual "cabins" in the woods. The only thing I would say is a fan would be great as it got very very warm during the day and as you are falling asleep but was a very comfortable night sleep after the sun went down. We met the owner whose love for the people of the area and the property was evident. I highly recommend staying here and exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park and the private reserve it sits on. The nighttime hyena safari right next to camp was a definite highlight.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay This place has the friendliest, most cherishing staff a visitor can ask for. The manager is a grounded, lovely man who is always there for you. This was a stay to remember. The rooms are extremely spacious with plenty of seating areas. Everything is as clean as it can be. I can't say thank you enough.

Nice view on a saltlake Nice location on the side of a saltlake. The smell is sometimes a bit special, depending on the wind. The tentlodges were good, with a nice balcony, but without anything to sit on. Between 7 pm and 7 am it is not allowed to go to the restaurant without a guide. We had a Hippo standing just next to our tent when we came back from dinner. The restaurant is a nice, with view and when the weather is good, they put the tables on the veranda. The people are very friendly, the food is good, but they charge a lot for the wine, which was not our experience in the other lodges on our trip.

Super friendly and stunning accommodation Can’t fault Phillip and the team - one of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed - big thanks to Judith and Ruth so being so accommodating. Lodges were gorgeous and the view stunning. Safety was also a top priority and security was great. Location is ace - just outside the National park. Can’t recommend enough - we will be back.
